Quick Gratitude/ Grounding Ritual

Cultivating gratitude is an extremely powerful practice that can change your life for the better. Focusing on gratitude has been associated with improved mental health and happier relationships with yourself and others. For best results, do this ritual at least once or twice a month.

What you’ll need:

  • Journal

  • Pen

  • Tea (non-caffeinated, optional)

  • Anything that helps you get center( yoga, meditation, earthing, chanting, breathwork, ect)

What to do:

  1. Sit in a sacred space or somewhere quiet and you won’t be disturbed.

  2. Make some tea if you’d like and find a place to get comfortable and cozy. This is where you will ground and center yourself. There is no wrong or right way. Pick a method that you are comfortable with. You are looking to find the stillness within you so that you are ready to receive.

  3. Grab your pen and journal and start a list of all the things you are grateful for. Think of as many as you can. No matter how big or small and write in as much detail as you can. If there are people in your list, think of ways where you can express your gratitude for them, like a sweet text or an act of kindness.

  4. Relish in the feeling. Gratitude is bliss. Have a wonderful day!
